How to Apply
- Candidates should apply online at the Central Testing Service (CTS) website www.ctspak.com or through the link available on the ESD website www.rescue.gov.pk by 24-06-2024.
- Applicants must send their forms by postal mail to the Central Testing Service.
- CTS will not accept hand-delivered forms.
- Only fully completed online applications meeting all criteria will be accepted.
- All documents will be accepted provisionally, and any offer of appointment is subject to document verification, police clearance, successful training completion, and medical board clearance by the Government of Punjab.
- Written and psychological/aptitude tests will be conducted at designated locations listed on the Roll Number slips, which can be downloaded from the CTS and ESD websites one week after the application deadline. Original CNIC and Roll Number Slip are required for test entry.
- Candidates cannot bring cell phones to the test centers. Changes in test centers or categories are not allowed. Any updates will be posted on the CTS and ESD websites.
- Only candidates who pass both the written and psychological/aptitude tests will be eligible for the Physical and Skill Tests. T
- he list of qualifying candidates and the dates and locations for these tests will be posted on the CTS and ESD websites.
- Skill tests will be conducted at designated locations by CTS.
- The final list of candidates qualifying for interviews, along with the interview schedule, will be displayed on the CTS and ESD websites.
- Interviews will be held at the Emergency Services Department Headquarters & Academy in Thokar Niaz Balg, Lahore. Candidates must bring original documents, three sets of attested copies of all relevant documents, six passport-sized photos, and a medical report from a Government Teaching Hospital or DHQ Hospital regarding their physical examination (height, weight, chest, eyesight, and physical deformities) and lab tests for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR.
- Candidates must meet the advertised criteria to maintain their eligibility. Any missing, false, or forged information will result in the cancellation of candidature/selection/appointment at any stage. No age or qualification relaxation (Army/Civil) will be provided.
- Candidates with weak eyesight, BMI 30 or above, and positive results for Hepatitis B & C, HIV, and RPR will be disqualified at any stage. Preference will be given to candidates taller than 5’6″ with a minimum chest size of 33″.
- Candidates should apply for only one suitable post but may be adjusted for other suitable posts upon the Recruitment Committee’s recommendation.
- The number of posts may increase or decrease based on availability.
- Local residents as per CNIC will be given preference.
- A 5% quota is reserved for minorities, and a 15% quota is reserved for females. Shemales are also welcome to apply.
- In case of a large number of applicants, only those with preferred or enhanced criteria will be considered.
